About the Production Worker – Woven Carpets and Technical Textiles job
The company is active in the production of woven carpets and technical textiles for, among others, road and water construction. Additionally, it supplies high-quality woven carpets for consumer and project markets and produces woven mobility solutions, such as movable road surfaces and helicopter landing platforms. The products are delivered worldwide, with an emphasis on Europe.
General Responsibilities as Production worker – woven carpets and technical textiles:
Experience as a weaver is not required; you will receive comprehensive guidance to master the craft. However, experience as a weaver is a plus.
- Reviewing the orders to be produced in sequence and the specifications of the textile, such as type, dimensions, pile height, and color;
- Setting the correct machine parameters, particularly on yarn tension and insertion area;
- Preventing downtime and weaving errors by monitoring the weaving process;
- Checking the actual weaving length, width, and number of shots;
- Re-calibrating the machine when switching production orders.
- You are available for a two-shift system
- You have experience as a production worker
- You are physically healthy and fit
- You are a go-getter
- You speak basic Dutch and English
Good Salary:
- Gross per hour: €14.44
- Net per week: €488
- An average working week is 40 hours per week plus overtime Pay at a Higher Rate
The net weekly salary is after deduction of costs for housing and health insurance.
