Amazon Truck Driver Role Overview
- experience as a Truck Driver (1 year minimum)
- Knowledge of the Autobahn system
- Drivers who understand the differences between EU driving and Russia/non-EU countries
- During Amazon loading and unloading, drivers must wait and ensure that the trailers are loaded correctly.
- Must be comfortable using a tablet for work
- Drivers sleep in the truck
- Availability 24/7 during working periods
- This role also requires night shifts in Luxembourg/France and weekend work outside Germany
- For this, you will receive an extra €300 net/month
- The additional bonus is received if the driver exceeds 10,000 km/month
- Base location: Marl, Germany
Requirements
- C+E drivers with EU driving experience 1 year minimum
- Proven experience operating transport trucks and safely loading/unloading
- Availability to work during public holidays
- Drivers who understand the differences between EU driving and Russia/non-EU countries
- Good knowledge of at least one of these languages: Russian, Romanian or English
- C+E driving license
- ID documents
- Tachograph card
- Details of previous truck-driving experience
- already have a work permit in Germany or Europe citizens
Company’s offer
- Base Salary: €3,500 net/month
- Salary around €4,000 net/month including bonuses
- This is international driving, not only inside Germany
- Rotation system available (3 drivers per truck) for those who prefer that
- Long-term contract, preferably minimum 1 year
- Permanent contract with an initial probation period
- All drivers will have a registered residence in Germany
- Social assistance after the required employment period
- Health insurance included (medical consultations and everything necessary)
- 25–30 days of annual leave, excluding public holidays
Leave can also be paid out instead of taken
Example: some drivers work 6 weeks and then take 6 weeks off - The company will try to maximize earnings depending on the six German tax classes
- Rotation system available (3 drivers per truck) for those who prefer that. For example, three drivers can form a team operating two car carriers. They work six weeks in Germany followed by three weeks at home. This ensures that two drivers are always working while one is at home. Drivers receive 25–30 days of paid vacation per year. Additional time spent at home beyond this is unpaid.Part of the travel costs is covered by the company, depending on whether the driver travels by personal car or by plane. These details can be discussed individually with each candidate.
