We are currently looking for lifeguards with experience to join our partner team in the Netherlands!

As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for daily indoor and outdoor pool safety. You always create a sense of luxury and go above and beyond for guests, all the while maintaining guest safety in the water in a friendly and enthusiastic manner as per their requests.

In this position, your duties will include:

  • Supervising swimming activities at the aquatic centre and making sure that safety procedures, guidelines, and policies are followed;
  • Warning of unsafe activities and enforcing water safety policies and pool regulations;
  • Providing first aid in the event of injury, rescuing swimmers in danger or distress, and administering Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or artificial respiration if necessary;
  • Inspecting pool equipment, facilities, and water to make sure they are usable and safe;
  • Supervising and assisting in cleaning equipment and facilities;
  • Opening and closing the pool each day, depending on schedule and hours;
  • Instructing or assisting classes in the fundamentals of swimming.

The starting salary for this position is €13.27 gross/hour.

This is a long-term and full-time job opportunity.

Requirements
  • A CV in English is required to apply for this position;
  • 1+ years of experience in the position;
  • Fluent English is required, and German will be considered a plus;
  • Lifeguard certification is mandatory;
  • Swimming skills and comfort in all kinds of water conditions;
  • Ability to evaluate and judge the changing dynamics of people taking part in aquatic activities;
  • In-depth knowledge of safety policies, on-site protocols, and operational procedures;
  • In-depth knowledge of techniques and methods for providing medical services in the event of an emergency;
  • Willingness to live and work with other nationalities;
  • Availability to stay longer in the Netherlands.

Transportation price

Shared car, public transport, bike, walking – the cost and type differ from the offer, so this will be communicated directly to the candidate.

Accommodation rent/week: 125€

Health insurance/week: 35,58 €
