Truck Driver (animal transport) for Denmark
We are looking for a skilled and experienced truck driver to handle routes in and out of Brørup. The route runs from Brørup down towards Southern Jutland.
The trucks are for animal transport, pigs.
Physical work is included, as the truck must be washed regularly (approx. 1.5 hours per wash).
According to the collective agreement, it is permitted to live in the truck for up to 14 days if necessary.
Toilets and showers are available at the customer’s location. This means that, in theory, the driver can stay in the truck and only stay in a hotel room on rare occasions. No need for permanent residence in Denmark if the driver prefers to work two weeks in Denmark and then go home.
Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in handling and transporting pigs, as well as a valid animal transport competence certificate.
The experience driving with pigs must be from the last 2 – 3 years.
Candidates must have the right to work in the EU and be English-speaking.
Reliability and good attendance are essential.
Drivers can expect a 55–60 hours work week.
Required licenses include a CE driving license, an EU qualification, and a driver’s card.
Experience driving with a three deck Scania it will be an advantage

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, approx. 08:00–22:00. Occasional Saturdays may occur.
The truck can be parked at the slaughterhouse in Brørup, where drivers also have access to toilet and shower facilities. This means all driving starts from Brørup.
Salary
Base hourly wage: DKK 174.15
Qualification supplement: DKK 3.80
Attachment supplement: DKK 4.00 – granted to good drivers after 3 months
Live animal transport supplement: DKK 14.00
Seniority supplement after 9 months: DKK 8.15
Payment for work performed beyond the guaranteed 37 hours is according to ATL § 6 and currently as follows:
1st, 2nd and 3rd hour after normal working hours: DKK 44.56
Sundays and public holidays: DKK 109.40
Gross salary per month between DKK 45 – 55.000 (Euro 6000 – 7.300 and net salary between DKK 25 – 30.000 (Euro 3.800 – 4.400) per month.
