Engineering Manager, Hybrid, Ukraine, Europe
Analytics and optimization tools for digital content creators.
At least 5 years experience as a successful software engineer plus at least 3 years as an engineering manager;
Experience working with large-scale data in production systems and collaborating with Data Scientists or Machine Learning Engineers, including familiarity with supervised machine learning pipelines and metrics;
Strong industry experience with Python (preferably) or Java/Scala ;
Hands-on experience with most of the following or similar technologies: MySQL, ElasticSearch, Spark, Kafka, ML Systems;
Demonstrated success in growing, managing, and leading a cross-functional engineering team
Experience in building and driving an agile software development process
Build a high-performing team by hiring, retaining, and mentoring high-performing engineering talent;
Work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, product management, and other stakeholders to develop the scope and requirements of projects that the team will engage in;
Drive an agile and predictable sprint process to accomplish team goals;
Ensure product delivers desired business value by monitoring, operating, and improving the systems the team is responsible for;
Lead the team technically and culturally, creating an environment that is highly collaborative and conducive to delivering quality results;
Lead by example, participating in end-to-end implementation of features, and sharing in an on-call rotation to monitor and maintain the health of production systems.
