Are you an Industrial Insulator looking for a job in the Netherlands?

This position applies insulating materials to process piping, ductwork, or other mechanical systems in order to help control and maintain temperature in an industrial setting. Must be a team player.

Job Requirements:
– Measure and cut insulation for covering surfaces, using tape measures, handsaws, knives, and scissors;
– Remove old insulation, following safety procedures;
– Fit insulation around obstructions, and shape insulating materials and protective coverings as required;
– Determine the amounts and types of insulation needed, and methods of installation, based on factors such as location, surface shape, and equipment use;
– Install metal around insulated pipes in order to protect the insulation from weather conditions or physical damage;
– Select appropriate insulation based on the heat-retaining or heat-excluding characteristics of the material;
– Read blueprints and specifications to determine job requirements;
– Apply and seal the specific called-for insulation “Finish” in a safe and neat appearance;
– Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed;
– Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor;
– 2-5 years of industry experience required; more than 5 years of industry experience preferred;
– Knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and process piping equipment;
– Knowledge of specifications and limitations of insulation materials;
– Good sense of housekeeping and organisational skills;
– VCA;
– Driver’s licence B
– Conversational English level (B1)
