We are searching for suitably trained/qualified Overhead Transmission Linesmen for a company in the United Kingdom.
These positions are ‘roaming’ based, meaning the work is not limited to one set location.
The employing company is a leading service provider to energy networks and infrastructure.

Salary
- £21 p/h for normal hours work
- £19 p/h during Training/Refresher Training
- Paid Standby if required £69 p/d (5 days a week)

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7am – 5pm
- 12 days on, 2 days off
- Summer 26 weeks: 10 hours
- Winter 26 weeks: 9 hours
The Role
As Overhead Transmission Linesman duties include:
- General Rigging, carrying out pre-inspection checks
- Earthing tasks
- Jumpering
- Platform erection
- Jointing
- Running conductors and earth/ground wires
- Steel assembly and erection tasks
- In-situ steelwork replacement
- Install downleads in accordance with diagrams
- Install anti-climbing devices
- Operate effectively as part of a team
- Follow relevant company policies, procedures and documentation
- Carry out other tasks as directed
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience in:
- Tower Erection
- Steelwork replacement
- Full and partial structural replacement
- Maintenance work
Steel lattice tower experience is essential
Formal qualifications (relevant) would be desirable
Valid UK car driving license/International driving permit is desirable

If applying from outside of the UK applicants will need to meet the Home Office requirements for the Skilled Worker Visa, this includes:
- Pass the UKVI IELTS/Provide proof of English language proficiency
- Obtain a clear Tuberculosis test (for certain countries)
- Clean immigration history
